Wait what does ai backfill mean? Ai will take player spots? If thats the case why cant we just have solo matches?

  I believe that's what this is. I too would like solo matches to be back, that's for sure, but this will help balance lobbies at least to a point.

  @stukapookaIt means if players drop out they'll be replaced by AI until new players come in.
  Good addition for balance & less populated modes, but yes, there's not much more of a leap from this to solo matches.

    @ToastedSarnie Well if they can do this then there is no excuse to not add solo matches as soon as humanly possible.

  @stukapooka Probably because solo matches means less people will play online multiplayer. This way you still play online to keep the playerbase healthy.

    @shurikeninja Except playing online only all the time is not fun and gw2 was able to have all this at launch and still have full lobbies for nearly all gamemodes so if the multiplayer base needs more people I think that speaks volumes about bfn.
