So yeah, if you couldn't tell already, I genuinely do believe that there is a lot of potential for more money to be made for EA (not through more microtransactions). They just sent the game out to die with Founders and by the time the game launched, there was no marketing and the hype was gone. Then youtubers stopped making content and the game got more negative publicity online. Instead of doing Repairville and doing a No Man's Sky they just ditched all the work they made.
I understand Skate players need a new game but the way I see it, BFN devs should've been given the time to finish what they were working on (legendary upgrades, Ops phase 3, new characters etc.) first.

It would have solved the remaining balancing problems. Zombies can stack power more easily (group heal, Space Stations, Wizard... . Iceburg Lettuce would have balanced things a lot with the abilities and passive Ice effect.
I feel like PopCap should be reunited as one studio and be given a bit more freedom. It would be cool if they could be like the Pokémon company.- 5 years ago@benn1nat0r Yeah we're in the darkest of times right now but I remain hopeful for the future. Look at it this way, Skate isn't really a franchise that can be released as often as PvZ. Titanfall 2 got really popular ever since Apex Legends released, and Respawn have opened up another studio, more devs are moving there. It's been rumoured that Titanfall 3 is in development. So EA do care about their franchises if the playerbase is there.

@shurikeninja this is why although things look dark, and some other franchises have fared poorly or been lost under EA, PvZ has been doing well in one form or another for many years and the fact that so many people obviously and openly care about the games, the player retention was (is?) high, and some of us were more than happy to buy coin packs in GW and GW2 and some rainbow stars in BfN to show support, means there's a good chance we'll get a new game one of these days.
I'm honestly only on Twitter at all for these shooters and PvZ in general, and Justin Wiebe was the first person I followed (PvZ was second). I don't post a lot so missed any of the more toxic posts directed at anyone involved with PvZ, but they should chill out. Go ahead and post stuff like ;"please make a new PvZ shooter!" but avoid attacking the team and hammering at that point over and over.
