Best packs for legendary
Are Zany Zombopolis packs still the best for getting legendary items? I haven't been having much luck finding legendary items for some time now and thought there might have been some changes I missed...
Opinions differ as to whether it's better to grind up the legendaries (excepting party and frontline fighters) with the 35K packs or the 40K pack. The drop rate is so low that it's impossible to tell for sure which is correct. Toxic citron and breakfast brainz are listed on the 40K pack description, so I think ti's safe to say that those two are best gotten from that pack. Some people also advocate initially buying lots of 7.5K and 15K packs to get a lot of the hats and such into your sticker book, increasing the odds with the bigger packs down the line.
Don't expect fast results whatever path you choose. I've spent a whole bunch of millions and still lack comp scientist, iron citron, and toxic brainz.
As @pandareno1999 said, don't expect too much even from the "best" packs
The nature of the random award system used by PopCap for the content of any given Sticker Pack makes it extremely unpredictable. The probability system is not influenced whatsoever by what you have or have not received in previous Sticker Packs so Players have experienced a huge range of time waiting for the pieces necessary to complete their character rosters; you can collect characters relatively quickly and consistently or you can experience extremely long "dry spells" where you don't see character pieces at all, especially when you're grinding for the ones with Legendary status; some players have been playing constantly since Day 1 and are still waiting to unlock characters
As an example; when the Frontline Fighters update launched and that pack became available I managed to receive all the pieces to the ScallyWag Imp, Captain Squawk and Nec'Rose by spending less than a million PvZ coins on the pack but it took me spending another 3 million coins before I saw a single piece of Commando Corn.
