@realitysquared While I agree with most of your statements (as usual), GW2 launched in a pretty bad state. The first PvP match my friend and I jumped in, the plant team was almost all Roses and that was a consistent issue for the early days there (the days of 125 health Roses that had guided shots to extreme range where a mess). It did get fixed quickly but there was also the issue with capture point bars bugging out mid-capture, getting stuck reloading on an All-Star, the team swap issues, losing all progress and having to replay the intro every time you logged in, that one Engineer hat that was disabled for months, and of course the spawn on the wrong side bug that still happens today, I logged in yesterday as my Sunflower to check quests and I was on the zombie side again.
Most of that has been fixed for a long time to be sure, and BfN has more significant problems than GW2 did, but it certainly had some serious issues at launch. BfN really feels a lot like GW2 as they work on fixing things and the game feels much better than it did at first.
Also, I too am glad they made the daily challenges much less onerous. Most of them are pretty quick to complete after they tweaked them.
