@Mousemaki Hello
At first:
Check if your device meets the hardware requirements.
Check if your drivers are up to date.
Then try this steps:
Try to start Windows in clean boot mode.
It can be AntiCheat error too. To fix that you need to follow these steps:
1. Go to the folder where you instaled the game then the \PVZ Battle for Neighborville\EasyAntiCheat
2. Open EasyAntiCheat_Setup
3. Choose "picnic" and run a repair.
4. Then try launching your game and see if anything changes.
If the tips above don't work, try reinstalling Game and Origin.
I hope it'll help with solving your problem.

Hello @CapitanRoyon ,
Hardware/drivers are fine [my home is not my castle but the all_day_lan_party of my 3 sons and their friends ^ ^].
CleanBoot and background apps done: no effect
Made the Origin-chache clean. This helped at the laptop (can´t test it on the tower because - you know.... don´t disturb kids playing ^^).
So thank you. Hope it will help at the other computer a well and I don´t need to do this every day, what might happen(?) as they played it this morgning and in the afternoon it didn´t work.
Even they might have played it and did go away without closing the game so that the computer and/or laptop was going into sleep mode/idle. Is it possible that this confused the game?
Thx and merry christmas
regards

OK - tested it on the other computer, only origin-cache cleared [closed Origion and cleared cache, reopended and didn´t work]. Didn´t work at first try, but after restarting the computer.
