did you ever find a resolution for this problem?
For laptops like this it's often a case of needing to force the nvidia GPU to work.

nVidia Control Panel -> 3D Settings -> Program Settings -> Add Program (Game.exe) -> High Performance Processor

Make sure your on the latest drivers available.

Try putting game in Borderless mode from the settings file.
