Block Meter

If an attack triggers a block and continues to do damage, if the opponent doesn't play the block, then the rest of the damage never occurs. For example, if I have a mirror nut and other nuts and my opponent plays the Chickening, if the first nut damaged triggers the block and my opponent holds his superpower for a few seconds then Mirror Nut won't hurt my opponent for the rest of the nuts that were damaged.
I also want to point out that the speed of attack animations many times determines when the block meter. Gargantuars normally attack faster and can damage me if my block meter is 3/4 full.

Yes, that's how it works currently

We need more evidence about this.
