They just can't get the Pirate's scatter shots right.
Basic Deadbeard's scatter is almost as powerful as the Chemist's Beaker Blaster, hitting for 35 (38).
Captain Cannon's is too weak (20 damage, 22 with damage upgrade) and has less range, sure it has faster firing, but this pirate has less ammo anyway.
Captain Flameface's so called scatter is simply a weak burst of fire in front of him. Combined with it's small range and slow rate of fire, you'll find yourself still using his scope at close range.
Captain Sharkbite's scatter somewhat decent, faster firing and only costing one ammo per shot at the cost of decreased range and damage.
Captain Partyman's scatter (when not in party time) is the closest to balanced, dealing 30 (33) damage per shot.
In my personal opinion, here's what I think should be done about each.
Deadbeard: Decrease damage
Cannon: Increase range
Flameface: Increase damage
Sharkbite: Balanced, Shouldn't change
Partyman: Decrease damage (slightly)
These are simply my thoughts, I do not want people to hate me for them.
