Bug: Diamond Gnome

There is a diamond gnome behind a bouncer down in some ruins where you need to solve shadow puzzles. After completing the puzzles, my party and I discovered that there is an invisible wall you can walk on to reach the gnome without having to solve any puzzles.

Cool find! That looks like a bug for sure, but isn't the diamond gnome in a cage until you solve the puzzles? So even if you could get across beforehand I don't think you can collect it.
