[BUG] VOIP on/off option not working correctly

Question

Hey Guys,today i installed the patch for pvz garden warfare. I started a round and i heard someone talking.I checked the Teamspeak but no one talked. So i looked in the game options."Sound -&gt; VOIP = Disabled" i turned up the volume and it was really ingame voice chat.So, the Problem is that VOIP is disabled but you can still hear other players and other players can hear me. Now the option is total useless.I played a round with a friend an he has the same problem, so i think its a bug that came with the patch.

The update broke VoIP for me too. I had VoIP completely off prior to the update and it's still off but the voices came back. I reverted to using the audio settings workaround and will probably just use that from now on since I have no desire to use VoIP and the workaround is permenant and can't be undo by the game like the VoIP settings was with the update.
