Butter Barrage / Sombrero Bomb / Imp Punt

This is an issue ever since. Most likely a bug or oversight.

Whenever i take out a corn that throws a potato at me, it just lays on the ground and depawns with no butter. I also threw countless amounts of potatoes that never brought butter down.

I'm not sure about exact details. Maybe the moment the corn dies butter cannot activate. So if the corn is still alive when the butter comes down it works perfect. But if corn dies a microsecond before the butter activates, there is no butter. Could be that the script is attached to the corn model and not the potato. And its not the only death issue i know of. Since Gravity Grenade also seems to ignore teams if the Imp throwing it dies before the grenade hits anything. So the gravity effect becomes neutral and can pull zombies.

I even once had a Butter Barrage vanquish as Brainz for whatever weird reason that should be connected to this.

Beans and Punts are technically different. Because they don't trigger additional effects that linger around once they explode. They just despawn and trigger a regular explosion.

And we already know from plenty of bugs that Popcaps scripting is barely functional in too many cases.

Could even be that Roses Goatify affects plants if Rose dies while the projectile is on the way.
