Can’t earn any stars after opening 200 star chest

This is a sporadic issue that comes up from time to time. I just did a quick search for "200 star chest" and came up with several relevant threads. It seems that it will fix itself, but the amount of time it takes to do so varies. I didn't have time to read all the results. If you do the same search you might come up with a better solution.
- Will the stars show up that you earned? Or did I just do quests for nothing? Having the same issue after opening 209 coin chest.
Both my daughter's account and mine can no longer earn stars after opening the 200 star chest and was told by a tech in chat to report the issue here as they have had others with the same issue. I hope this gets fixed with a new update soon
- This just happened to me too. I opened the 200 star chest and continued doing missions and after a couple of missions in I noticed my star count was still at 0. Something similar happened to me a couple of weeks ago where I couldn't earn any coins but didn't notice until I tried to get some packs and didn't have enough, I even promoted 3 characters but didn't earn any coins. :[
Happened to me last night. Really hope it’s fixes itself.
