This might be a silly question, but do you know if there is any way to pass this feedback along to someone at EA?
I have no doubt they are working on a 4th game in the series and it would be disappointing to see the same issues repeated.@GentlemanYeti I am not entirely sure how you can send feedback about the game to EA. Maybe if you provide some feedback to me and I could show the community managers for them to look at. If you do, Direct Message me!
- @GentlemanYeti Hmm, I think it's the kind of question that would normally arise during game testing & sadly there's a lot of uncertainty in the PvZ community atm about whether there will be another game, as a lot of the original PvZ devs seem to have moved on 😬
It's not a silly question, but one I don't know the answer to, I'm afraid!
@TheSprinter85 as forum Champion has better links with EA community managers, so maybe he knows more? - @TheSprinter85 Just seen your reply, sorry! We must've been typing at the same time despite our time differences! 😂
@ToastedSarnie No problem at all! 😇
- @TheSprinter85 Thanks! The feedback I have is just what the thread is about, really. I would hope that multiplayer would be ironed out to allow for a split screen party to host. It's honestly the weirdest multiplayer thing I've ever seen in a game before.
@ToastedSarnie Yeah I've seen some mention of people being worried that this is the last game we'll get. As someone who's new to the GW series, I really hope not. We are very much enjoying our time with the game. - Iron_Guard85 years agoLegend
Good to see you around @ToastedSarnie ! Miss having you about the place (here and the GW2 forums that is).
As to the future, it does look bleak and no idea what's going on right now beyond being able to play all 3 games, but part of why I'm still around and posting is that I too want a new PvZ shooter so want to keep up at least some activity around the place!
Hope you got this split screen issue ironed out!
- @GentlemanYeti Must confess I'm not that familiar with split-screen options in other games - my son got me into GW years ago & that had none at all other than a kind of endless Ops mode. We used to play side-by-side, swapping the controller each time we died 😂
Glad you're enjoying it - we're all hoping it won't be the last of the series too. I haven't played BFN in a long time as I reached a point where I found it frustrating but still play GW & GW2 pretty regularly & would love to see a new game!
@Iron_Guard8 Aww, thanks - I've popped into the GW2 forum a couple of times as I'm still playing that between other games but there's not seemed much point coming in here as I'm no longer playing BFN... came in as I was tagged & it's been nice seeing there are still some familiar names around!
Hope everything's good with you! 🤞😊 - @Iron_Guard8 Luckily, we have a PS5 and still have the PS4 hooked up, so we lugged out a second TV, and hooked up the PS4 to that so we can play online with our other friends. Truly not the best solution, but hey it works.
And honestly, when you play split screen the interface gets so small that the font becomes basically impossible to read. So each of us having our own screen is nice. But having 2 TVs in the living room is not a long-term solution lol.
@ToastedSarnie Yeah I watched a lot of videos before getting BFN to see what the differences were and it seemed like the hardcore fans were way more into GW2, but BFN seemed like a good enough first game and we are loving it. It's incredibly accessible and an overall really polished game. I'm surprised it didn't do better.
But at the same time I'm not surprised because I never saw any marketing for it.. ever. I follow dozens of gaming sites online, I play PS4/5 daily, and I did not know this game even existed. Seems like EA sort of just put it out to die. - @GentlemanYeti Yes, BFN didn't have the best of starts, sadly. With a bit more time beforehand & more fanfare at launch, it could've been a different story.
There's a lot I like about the game but I think my frustrations with it hit their peak around the time Covid started complicating life & much as I love the franchise, I opted for more stress-free gaming to try & hold onto my sanity 🤣
I think @Iron_Guard8 would confirm that later in the year the devs put through a huge amount of balance adjustments which meant the game is in a much better place than when I last played, so I hope you & everyone else carries on enjoying it - and fingers crossed the franchise continues 🤞
Have fun!
