These are good points. The positives of adding damage dropoff will outnumber any negative that comes with it. It will benefit the gameplay, balancing, and the way classes should work.
Neglecting this is slowly killing the game, and the PVP is awful. On top of the numerous bugs, its just an unfun sniper meta . I'm hoping the next monthly patch will do things right.
Yea the only question at this point is, why they seem so opposed to falloff and implementing it.
