Cannot connect to EA servers - Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare

Hi all,

We just got Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare. It worked earlier today...connected to the EA server. Even downloaded an update but now it won't connect to the EA server. Re-started the router/modem and console but still no luck! What do we do now? Any help would be much appreciated.

    Had same issue, unable to connect to EA servers. Turned out to be the date and time on my console was set in manual to the Wrong Date and Time. Changed the clock to automatic internet settings and voila it connected. This is because the the date and time doesn't fall into the time frame of the servers security certificate and will not let you connect (its a website security thing).

    I just downloaded the gam for trial and i can't connect to the servers, it starts the connection and then it crashs, completly stuck

    with only 72 hours of possible play, i wonder if i'll be able to try at least

    Could anyone please tell me why the servers are down and when will they come back up?

    Just to be sure I've checked my equipment and servers are still down. I've got an anxious nephew comin over.

    I downloaded the game and have the same problem. Hope is going to be fixed soon or I wont buy the game.

    My time is gonna end in 35 hours and it says I played 2 hours but I never shoot a peashot. I hope I can play for 1 hour at least  but EA its not doing anything to fix this server error. Hope to be fixed  soon

    72h had pass and i couldn't even pass the main menu, how can they convice anyone to buy a game that doesn't work?
    the most this trial did was to prevent me to buy the game
    on top of that, not even one EA colaborator steped in and explained what happend, i never thougt EA had dropped so low
    i'm really desapointed
