Cannot connect to the ea severs for p v a on the PS3

Please try the following and keep us updated:

The Media Server Connection allows other devices to connect to your PLAYSTATION 3. Often, the Media Server Connection is known to cause issues when players try to connect to the Internet for online game play.

1. Access your Xross Media Bar menu
2. Navigate to Settings
3. Select Network Settings
4. Select Media Server Connection and choose the Disable option.

Turn off the Media Service connection can slower your PS3 internet connection (especially for downloading).

I do need some more info please

What country are you playing from?

Have you tried deleting and reinstalling?

Have you rebooted the console?

Is your online working for other titles and your PS plus working?

@latomanq7go7p what game modes is it occurring in? All of them or some of them?

Garden Ops is peer hosted so that means you are connecting to others.  Try hosting yourself for this mode.

i am also from Mexico, i already tried all the shortcuts here and nothing works, it is really frustrating that you pay for a disk with a game that only can be played online and it takes forever to connect and play, if ever!. This only happens with P vs Z, not any other EA game like Fifa, etc.

I honestly think this is an issue with the game for ps3, i have spent more than 5 hours rebooting, erasing, checking net connections, etc, nothing solves the problem!, my son was a huge fan, now he does not want´s to play it anymore, because you can not play!!!

please if someone know something else to do beside these ones, let us know, this is a ripoff!! 

I just did that and i keep loseing the connection to the EA severs wat do i do 😕mileysad:

Try this on your internet modem / router and let me know if this solved your issue. It helped my internet connection at home a lot.

1) Log into your modem / router
2) Turn OFF UPNP.
3) Turn off PC UPnP Service
4) Press: Windows-button a window should pop up. Write: services.msc then press enter.
5) In the list of services, scroll down to UPnP Device Host click it and press Stop service. Now do the same thing but with the service & SSDP Discovery
6) Exit the window and go to control panel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Centre > Change advanced sharing settings under network discovery, select to turn off network discovery then Save your changes

Please also enable the following online ports on your connection:
TCP: 53, 88, 3074
UDP: 53, 88, 3074
