Cannot play any part of the game

After you bought the PlayStation + membership for your PSN account, you are getting still the same update error message when you install the game, correct? You tried the most of the general PlayStation 4 troubleshooting steps, had you any other issues aka do you own any other disc based games for the console yet? It should not be an issue on an account level if you can't update the game without an error message, have you linked your console via wired rather than wireless connection to the internet and tried to power-cycle your router? 

To do so, unplug your router from the power-source for about 30 seconds and connect it back to the power supply after. It might even be that the disc is damaged somehow but I guess you bought a new game without any scratches on the surface? May I ask where you bought the game and if there is any chance to borough a PvZ:GW gamedisc from a friend of yours?

Sorry that we are tripping in the dark here but with console troubleshooting, especially after you tried already many steps to solve your issue, we need to go the trial and error route.

Also as a side note: there is no Offline mode in PvZ Garden Warfare.

-Correct, paying for a PSN+ account did nothing to solve the problem.

-The only other game I bought was Little Big Planet 3, it has no issues.

-Already done both of these, no solution there either.

-Brand new retail disc, no problems with the surface of the disc.

May I ask where you bought the game and if there is any chance to borough a PvZ:GW gamedisc from a friend of yours?

-I live on Okinawa, bought the game from the base exchange.  No idea who else would have a copy around here.

I also spent an hour in text chat EA trouble ticket #16705359, I really don't think the guy had any idea what I was referring to.  He would ask account information 10 minutes into the conversation and ask me for my game code after I told him that I purchased a CD version.  No progress at all was made during this time.

I have had one other thought.  When first loading the game it specifically states that the game must be updated to use network functions, then adds the update to the download.  The next time I try to load the game it gives me the log in error, however the update hasn't been applied so that would make sense as the update enables network access.  So the problem appears to be why cannot the update actually work.  Is there different types of update files based upon geographic location?  If so that means I'm downloading a JP update and attempting  to apply it to a US game.  If so is there a way to download the US file on a computer and transfer it via thumb drive?

If your PSN account is the same region as your game disc, this may be more of a Sony support question. 

The PS4, PSN account, and game disc are all US versions but I'm physically in Japan.

i Bought my game NFS 50 bucks disk at a Retailer 28/12/15... i try to install i did so... after installation. it ask to download update 1.04 1068Mb... it download but its not installing '' Cannot Install''.... after countless Initializing , deleting restoring on both PS4 same problem. so yesterday i did initialize one of  my ps4 and 30/12/2015 i Bought the digital version on PSstore i Paid 69bucks for the Deluxe version. it took 8hours to download. when it done im having same issue Error Code: CE-37732-2, Application NPXS20001, Nat Type Type 2, System Software 3.11. i Play Play games like DC Universe online, The Crew, Mortal Kombat X.... and never a issue. im getting this problem only with the NFS. and i did all this

Step 1: Delete the content from home screen, then restart the system. Next, re-download the content from the Library. Step 2: If the error persists, go to [Settings] > [Initialization] > [Initialize PS4] and try the PS4 initialization.   If the issue is still occurring, contact support by clicking here.  

I Did a Factory Reset too im Safe Mode.  

i Exchange the Disk too at retailer, Never change my Ps4 HDD

i did Plug by on wifi as well Wired directly to moden, itry hotspot on my cellphone and download file... i try my workplace's Network....the retailer did also download restore update. same thing.

i have PSN Pluss but still same thing.

i contact the PSN Support so many Times, i try all the steps from PSn Error. they said to contact EA for this issue.

I need other way to update this game.
