CANT FIND PLAYERS HELP

I live in Florida and I have not been able to get onto the EA servers.

The player base in this game is terrible, either that or they do something inbetween rounds that removes players from servers and puts them in other servers.

Almost every time after a round for me the next round has half the player count, GW1 never had this issue and most the times servers had plenty of players..disappointing in how this game has so many updates and events for the backyard etc. but there are still multiple issues with the core game and multiplayer.

So nobody really is playing the game? It's not my connection that's problematic?

The number of players which you can find will depend mainly on three things; the platform which you are using, the game mode you are trying to play and which regional server you are connecting to on that system.

My understanding is that the PC community for GW2 is the thinnest so you are more likely to encounter empty lobbies or small team sizes if you are playing through a PC. The PS4 community, which is my system, is still pretty robust and you can always find decent to full teams at nearly any time or any play mode.

The game mode which you are trying to play can be a factor as well; Turf Takeover and Team Vanquish tend to be most popular while others may not be.

It also appears that some regions also have fewer players than other regions and while you can sometimes fix that by connecting to another region that can increase your latency.
