Can't find players/lobbies always empty

Hey guys, I'm from Australia and surprisingly I have not been able to find players on the Oceania server (if there is a separate server for Australia and Asia. I seem to be stuck at "finding the best match" then it says "found the best match" and it's basically an empty lobby with me just in it.... and nobody joins. Really ruining the experience for me as this is mainly a multiplayer game. Can anybody help? How do I get EA's attention to this?

    I was having the same problem, I'm from New Zealand. I could never find a team for Garden or Graveyard OPs, so i changed the multiplayer location to setting to America north west and have had no trouble finding a team to complete these activities. Even tho under the location settings in multiplayer it shows up and a red ping I've had no trouble with lag in game. 

    You could try this and see if it help, also if u need help with anything feel free to add me on PS4 : Mailnz

    I'm from Australia too friend. I really have never had this problem - except after midnight and with Garden Ops. Haven't tried some of the game modes though, and I primarily play Turf Takedown and Garden ops. Sure Garden ops (at times) can be a bit sparse - which I must say I am surprised about because it a great game mode. That used to happen to me all the time though recently in GW 1. I haven't tried any other servers. I think there are enough people playing to popular the servers (like Australia), there will certainly be more when the game price drops a bit.

    The other problem though just might be if you have any restrictions on your internet connectivity or if your on - your xbox connection setting (like open Nat). This was generally a problem though on 360 I havent really heard it being a problem on xbone.

    Thanks for your response, I think it may be the NAT and something to do with my connection, but I guess I forgot to mention I am also playing on PC haha. I will try throughout the day and see if the servers get populated enough as I did try at like 7am this morning and midnight last night... probably not great times to play a game such as this, when maybe most of its playerbase has a bedtime :P (I haven't played the first GW and I got this because the new classes looked really promising)

    As for the other response, I might try a different server and see if it really is my connection 🙂

    no worries. I have heard though that the PC servers are far less populated than the consoles. Good luck.
