Can't join friends on the Xbox One

This has been a problem since the game came out. I can't join my friends when they start a game. I go to their profile and click on join game and then it takes me to the PVZ GW main menu screen and then nothing happens. Once in a while I will get random things to pop up when one of my friends are playing but it is never when I am playing the game. This is unacceptable for a game these days. The game is fun but it would be better if I could just join my friends. If this dosen't get fixed then this game would of been just a wasted of $40.

    Have you tried being in a party with them? If you're at the main menu, it'll auto invite you when they join a session.

    Yeah dosen't work. Im always in a party with them, there is no point in hearing a bunch of little kids scream. I tried talking to a customer service representative though a chat but the only anwser I got was to remove all the people from my friends list. When I asked why that would fix the probelm, he wouldn't give me an answer and just said do it.

    - Firstly ensure you and all your friends are at the Main Menu

    - Create a party

    - Select your friends and 'Invite to party and game' (This ensures they are in a game party)

    - Once they join, the party will say they're also in PvZ

    - One person join a game

    - Everyone will get invites

    The only reason I can see why parties on Xbox One aren't working are if someone is not in the main menu or they're not invited to a game party.
