Cant Play PvZ Garden Warfare 2 on PC

I'm having trouble playing the game. I pre ordered the game for my computer on origin for 60$, the other day I got to pre load it. Last night was when people who pre ordered could play and I was so exited, but when I started it up this (and some other stuff) came up (had to re type it because it won't let me copy and paste it):

           Detected intel driver version #1 10.18.15.4281 08/31/2015 00:00:00 #2 10.18.13.5354 07/13/2015 00:00:00. The recommended driver version is xx.xx.15.4251 or later. Please update your drivers at http://downloadcenter.intel.com/ before playing the game.

           So I went to the site and downloaded the intel driver, a internet shortcut appeared on my home screen after I had read the terms and conditions stuff. But when I click the shortcut it says "Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your PC?" I click yes it closes that and nothing happens. I can click the internet shortcut again and the same thing happens. I have re started my computer at least 5 times and I have no idea how to fix this.

Also I have a new windows thinkpad I got for Christmas. It has plenty of space still on it so Idk what's going on. Please someone help! I really want to play this and I paid 60 dollars for it!

    I received @Maxis109's dxdiag in a private message.

    The main GPU is listed as a Intel HD 520, but further down there is mention of a Geforce 940M. This is a classic example of the Nvidia GPU not switching on in Frostbite 3 games, such as this one.

    The aforementioned method of switching on the right GPU should ordinarily work in this case. Go to the Nvidia control panel (you find this option by right clicking the desktop), then go to 'manage 3D settings' and make sure the Nvidia GPU is preferred. Like so:

     I need a hand too if you could.

     I have the same problem, when i start the game i get a message saying i need to update my intel drivers, which repeatedly doesn't work and I have an Nvidia GT 740M graphics card with the latest drivers. I am running win 8.1 and all specs exceed the minimum - 40mbps internet, 8 GB RAM, 100's GB free on hard disk, intel i7 quad core etc etc

     I have followed the other instructions, going to manage 3d settings, i am still getting the same message, I have reset and still doesn't work and same error message, any idea's whats up with it?

    Any help is appreciated, especially as it's coming out of your own time. ty

    Game specs are stated in terms of DESKTOP hardware.  A GT 740m in a laptop is not equal to the real GT 640 desktop part, but if the 740 will actually ever work as you need it to, you can lower the screen resolution to gain some of the lost animation speed that laptop compromises on performance have cost you.

    @robebooes

    The "Personalize" selection opens a menu of options, and you want to work with that (I'm looking at Windows7, not Windows 8 or Windows 10).  Back in the day, Windows XP used "Properties" to open a somewhat different, but similar, menu of options.
