Captain cannon's closerange shot

15-20 damage and uses 2 of your 8 ammo each shot? This is absolutely pathetic. The main shot may have splash damage, but that does NOT make up for the absolutely useless scattershot, lower ammo and added travel time.

This guy needs a buff.

    As someone who is mastering all the pirates at the moment i have to agree. The shark one is by far the most superior pirate, whereas the cannon one really sucks. I also don't understand why the shark pirate has 17? ammo and uses one shot in close range with ton of attack speed, whereas the cannon one is way worse in long range and has 4 shots in close range (which are also slow as hell). The balance between the subclasses needs to be better. So I agree, buff the cannon pirate or give him something special like more barell damage / range.

    I have never ever seen him played in multiplayer and I've played the game for 90 hours lol. So yeah he needs something changed, that's for sure.

    Too bad because he is the best looking of the pirates.

  • All the Pirate's have a MUCH lower damage in close range than the default Captain Deadbeard.  I think Captain Cannon should have some sort of explosive close range attack instead of the underwhelming 15 damage...

  • Deadbeard's variants (aside from Sharkbite) are pretty darned underwhelming tbh. They just have crappy ammo counts to begin with...and their close range attacks are a complete joke with their ammo consumption and low damage. 

    Basically, buff these two variants, especially when it comes to close range damage. Cannon feels a bit clunky atm overall, but he's got potential.
