It all sounds good to me. I really liked Taco Bandits in the first game and my foray into this version was a bit mixed the first time; partly from the matchmaking issue and partly from some ability problems these changes should address.

Players seem changed from AFK (Away from Keyboard) to IDC (I DON'T CARE).

Hi! Thanks for watching! Players are playing team death match instead of capture the taco. Also please reward the player who captures the most tacos, the player that plants the most tacos, and the player that vanquishes the most taco carriers. Put them on the podium.

My feedback:
1. Reduce speed boost and duration after ggettingTaco to half second, 1-second max.
Otherwise, just use hot rod chomper, dig, get taco then simply run away with speed boost, no body can catch up with you anymore!!
2. Get points/reward if player participate with taco: steal/stop stealer/defend base/retrieve taco back. (similar feedback as Illionis1977).

ALL game modes should further reward those focused on the mode's task instead of kills/assists/heals only.
If you capture zones in TT, score bombs in Gnome Bomb, (now) score tacos in CTT, etc.... you should receive points and/or stand on the podium after the match. I think this would fix many of the lame playstyles that annoy most everyone who enjoys the game.
I obviously agree about the rewards but think it should extend to the entire game/other modes, not just CTT.
