9 years agoThe weapons aren't really the problematic thing in most situations. The thing that makes scientist so strong is his versatility (And power in every role he plays). As a support player, he can use his healing abilities and high movement speed/warping to make sure his allies are always as healthy as possible. In an offensive role, he can easily assassinate people with his high damage and warp (His primary guns' low range is supposed to be their weakness, however Warp allows him to immediately close the gap between himself and a target), then run or teleport away, heal himself quickly, and do it over again, throwing Sticky Explody Balls in between.
