Chomper needs buff
Chomper got nerfed way too hard in bfn, he is now virtually useless , even if he was annoying, enginner hard counters him and he wasnt even a top tier character, he is now probably the worst characte...
I'd be totally okay with chomper losing his ranged attack if he could eat from behind. The maps are much more spread out now so it wouldn't be as easy to get kills, plus everyone can run now so burrow got passively nerfed.
I LOVE no chomping from behind but that’s the end of my love for the new Chomper and I wish there was an option to toggle this feature/attack.
Spikeweeds are super sloppy; why not allow them to stick to opponents when you throw them?
The goo is useless.
I maxed him out in BfN and do not plan to play him anymore.

By my standards and what I used goo for, it’s USELESS.
I’m happy to post videos or upload some not seen before with extended gameplay utilizing goo.... those videos are still in the GW2 forums, too.

It looks like they're trying to make Chomper more of a team player over a solo assassin. In general the game is moving towards a more team oriented style as seen with classes like Citron and All-star as well. The new goop needs a buff to the DoT as the 1 point ticks aren't enough after the 34 initial burst, but the large AoE prevents all zombies in it from sprinting or using special abilities so gives a nice chunk of area denial.
Chomper may well need other buffs. The new goop is great for area denial but while that 1 point damage tick lasts a long time after you leave the area of the goop effect, 1 damage ticks are insufficient. I actually don't mind losing the back chomp as too many times in GW you just want to melee zombies and end up accidentally swallowing them and becoming the much maligned 'suicide chomper'
