This is how I think it should be solved.
This is only given to chompers without spray types or belching weapons. I’m calling it the buffet bar. This digestion themed bar will show how many zombies can be swallowed by a Chomper before digestion, with a limit of 2 zombies. If the Chomper swallows 2 zombies the Chomper needs to sit and digest for the time of 7 seconds. If a Chomper swallows only one zombie the bar will go up to half way, and the Chomper will not be restricted in the use of abilities or his primary weapon. Also if no zombies are eaten during 3 seconds after swallowing a zombie, the bar will steadily drop until zero.
So am I right in saying that you are suggesting a chomper can swallow a new victim every 3 seconds without swallowing? If that's the case he'd be running around like pacman. Might be kind of OP. That's almost as nuts as the 10 seconds invisibility every 20 seconds suggested elsewhere.
If anything he just needs damage reduction whilst swallowing (maybe a faster digestion time if gooped), camera bug fixed (although i get it on other plants too), and as others have said use aim to swallow.
sorry for the mix up I forgot to mention that after the 3 seconds are over, the chomper will still need to wait until the bar depletes to zero for another 3 seconds. so 3 seconds until the bar starts to deplete and 3 seconds for the bar to drop to zero. 6 seconds between chomps.
