Clique peas are so OP?
Almost everyone is playing now with clique peas because they are very powerful and if you combine them with other beans that let you draw cards you are invencible. xD

In giant growth alone you get a 5/5 for 5 with moving a zombie tucked to it. I would say thats much better than +1/+1 in stats. and Whipvine isn´t exactly top notch either.
mmmmmmaybe its just my opinion but playing on-curve vanillas just doesn´t seem feasable to me
Don't forget, they still buff the Peas already in play for free.
As much as I've seen them lately, I'd be just fine with never seeing anyone play one again.😃
Im with @GrinningRuiner on that. I'm at the point some games I feel like just d/c and whoopdedoo you got 15 points off me for the event. I honestly recycled mine that weekend because I was feeling bad using them and I knew that I hated playing vs them almost every other game...

- It's funny how easy it is to tell who here, on this thread, relies so heavily on Clique Peas and only play as plants to win comp lol. I dare you to play 50 games as a zombie. At least 40 of those matches will be up against the op clique peas.
Looking at you @daalnnii Most everyone has agreed that they're op and has been making at least reasonable comparisons and I look forward to hearing solutions to create balance - I played my first clique pea on Friday, I've taken then out since because they're overrated. I don't need them. @GrinningRuiner @jaydabbler @Azombioso @904e8d29c3cd2aa2 can verify. I'm probably one of the best plant players there is.
I challenge you to put them in your deck and play plants and see how much you lose. Just like every other powerful card, they're no good if you can't get to them. An I just to assume the players I was facing are that much better than you, you're unlucky or maybe, just maybe your not as good as you think you are and may need to adjust your deck?
Just because you wish I needed them to beat whiny scrubs, doesn't make it the case. I'd worry more about cards like Captain cucumber and Lily. They're more powerful than clique peas. Uh - But, if it makes you feel better. You'll be happy to know when plant players are crying here, I'll argue the balance of the zombie cards just as hard. To me there is no option, just cards you may not be prepared for.
I don't use Clique Peas because they are too inconsistent.
You either get lucky and slaughter your opponent, or you don't draw them, and you get destroyed because you made a terrible deck, and you hopefully choke on your sandwich and die.
I don't like 'dumb-luck' decks. I don't use them, and I don't like playing against them. They take the fun out of the game.
They work as an equalizer. They bring up bad players, and bring down good players.
'Equalizers' are in most competitive games (from first-person shooters to card games) to keep them fun for people who suck.
Do I hate and despise equalizers in games? Yes, I can't stand being beaten by people who are beneath me.
But when I calm down, (and see my 6 year-old kid getting wins) I remind myself of the necessity of making a game fun for a broad audience.
I don't really know what I am supposed to be verifying for @daalnnii's ability since I have probably never played you?

also, Clique Peas are not meant to be the only game winning card/strategy in your deck. They are just excellent filler as they do provide a solid win-condition if drawn.
Here is one of my CP decks that I used to get to ultimate this season. This took me from about 34-48 (despite the name) but then I switched to a dancing deck for PB for the last few levels.
of course, when you start a game like this.... instant win. (i waited until round 4 to play them all... instant concede)

- I definitely cringed when the clique peas first came out and I was facing green shadow. Seemed like at least one trait waa megagrow for a fortnight.
But green shadow and the peas added to a bean deck...those were and still are harsh because they're not going to lose you a game with the admiral(s). - @daalnii if you only just recently used them, then why do you even have an opinion on them? This makes no sense at all, no offense.
Personally, I try to understand something through repetitive use and observation to determine an opinion of my own design.
There is also no way to determine your rank above other players at this point in time, as far as I'm aware. Anyone who had over 200 stars beyond Ultimate status might assume they are among the top players and have no idea how many others like them there are. If there is a way to determine your rank, please let me know. I'm very curious to see where I rank. *Edited: can't spell* - If you only play as zombies, and haven't tried them as a plant (which you obviously haven't if you think they're always out of control) how can you have an opinion on them? You've only played one side, which makes you bias.
Two can play that game. Stop trying to prove me wrong. Focus on the topic.
Basically the point of this thread is, "I can't beat it if they get a lucky draw, nerf it" because it's not like they start every game with but four clique peas... So why not nerf all these decks in the video that follows, they can do what c.p. can't.

I actually watched that video, and if you did too, you would see that most of those "tricks" are not viable in rank matches and require Rose to transform a low lvl zombie into something perfect for the situation. You are comparing apples to milk. 1 requires a process; the other requires just picking it up.
Hardly anybody complains about such tactics used in the video, as they require both luck and skill, but Clique Peas require only luck, and not even that much considering each use will increase the chances to draw even more.
Im sorry if you got offended, I just want you to back up your claims
