Do anyone know about you need to complete a whole garden OPS or only a round? We completed 9 rounds at it dosent count. The description of the event says every round counts. :-)
10 waves count as 1 round then. I just came to find that out.
I think somebody made a boo boo there, since most people don't know what they're doing.
Chompers against mega bosses isn't going to cut it, & sunflowers not healing won't get you to the end.
The best thing to do is to see what everyone else is using and try to pick something that helps out.
If there's no sunflowers, be a sunflower & heal everyone up, so long as it's not a triple chomper team - otherwise it's a surefire loss no matter what else you take in.
Take in a torchwood, if you have it, or use something with decent health and firepower.
Try to be something different to everybody else. Too many identical characters isn't necessarily a good idea.
Choose a super elite or master character & upgrade ammo, reload time, damage, overload or blast radius traits, it all helps.
Sadly, I had to give up.
Too many people hanging around in corners doing nothing, or losing their connections, rage quitting or picking characters that don't stand a chance.
This leaves the rest of the team with a decent character or two down & the weaker ones still in play, making it almost impossible.
I don't think too many people like putting down bots in a game they aren't hosting either, due to losing connection or sessions expiring and sending them back to the back yard, meaning they used them up for nothing, since you get no rewards if you're sent back to your yard early.
I agree with everyone else here, it should have been waves, not rounds of 10 and a successful escape.
We have problems with some of the boss hunts too, but that's another topic.
Unfortunately, it looks like most people have given up because they asked for too much this time around.
Just over 44,700 at the time of this post. I don't think we're going to make the first reward with just over 19 hours left.
I stopped around 20 solo runs, it was clear that I couldn't possibly make a difference myself and another 5-10 hours didn't seem appealing. I found that an AI team of Toxic Brainz, plus me as a scientist won most of the time. (Super boss waves hurt really bad though.) It also had the added benefit of being easy enough that I didn't need to burn pot bots. Its a bummer, had it been waves I could have done much more. Also, in case anyone is wondering I did solo because if I do solo with AI I know I can win, opposed to spending the same amount of time with random people mostly ending in failure. Better a solo win than repeated failure with a team of 4. (Not that it mattered anyway.)
I only did 3 complete rounds before I gave up.
If I thought we had a chance of reaching the target I would have carried on playing.
Seemed like too much hard work if we're not even getting the 1st chest.
I usually play the challenges every day, to help out.
Hopefully the next one will be much better.
