I know some of you don't want to hear this, but no amount of coins spent or hours played entitles anyone to anything.
While I sympathize with many of you who have spent more coins than I have with nothing to show but hats, the game is working as intended. The legendary drop rate as you call it needs no adjustments.

@IronCatFish47 So then why was the game intended to "work" this way? And more importantly, why should GW fans be okay with it? GW1 didn't need Destiny or the Division like drop rates of 1:100,000,000 to keep people playing. Most GW1 fans kept playing that game looooong after everything was collected because it was * fun!!!
You should be PO that instead of giving us more of that in GW2 they opted for the lazy way of hiding content behind horrible game modes like Infinity, and random drop rates just hoping for success off of the gambling nature in people. Which I think by now Popcap knows has horribly backfired on them. Because GW fans are NOT those kinds of people, if we were, we'd be playing Destiny.

....Do the notes list EVERYTHING, or did they leave some stuff out? Just wondering, decided to get back into the Ops games...I kinda hope they work on the Slots still.

I kinda have to agree with this. I still play GW1 most days - not because I want to unlock every single item the game has to offer but purely on the fact that it's an immensely enjoyable game to play. I'm a bit embarrassed to say this but aside from Black Ops 2, GW1 is easily my 2nd favourite shooter ever made on Xbox and that really does drive home the pure quality of the game.
Re: Content update:
Whilst I do applaud PopCap for implementing various fixes, I don't believe any amount of free content is actually going to make the GW2 anything close to the quality product that many people expected it was going to be, simply because the core mechanics of what made garden warfare so popular just don't seem to gel with the new direction that GW2 is taking. It's hard for me to put my finger on exactly why this is, so for want of a better explanation I will say it just doesn't 'feel' right. It also worries me that PopCap are proclaiming Zombopolis as their "biggest map ever" because in all honesty I don't think "big" is the way forward. No idea what others think but I personally am already struggling with the big in GW2 because in terms of multiplayer, "bigger" just implies an even longer epic trudge between A and B with not a great deal to do during the journey.
The funny thing is that I would in an instant give up everything that is GW2 in exchange for a couple more G&G maps in GW1 - even one more map with a day/night alternative. And you know, I would pay for this content!
At the end of the day I guess i'm one of those people who live in the past and cannot come to terms with the natural progression/direction of games sequels......
Talking of progression and direction. Various developers have spent the past three years completely changing the direction of the Call of Duty franchise in such a way that in barely resembles any aspects of the original series - and anyone who has actually played these games will testify to the fact that this is most definitely NOT a change for the better. Black Ops 1 comes out on backwards compatibility and as if by magic it's sales increase through one supplier by 14,000%. This isn't a coincidence or even a scenario where a bunch of nostalgic people want to resurrect an old chestnut - this is a serious statement from the gaming community and developers need to ask themselves exactly why the popularity of a game should hold so strong after such a long time.
"bigger, badder, bigger" ? No thanks, I'm happy living in the past with "smaller, funner, better"

Every time a game has a DLC / Content update, I always head straight to the Character Tuning notes.
Citron
Little surprised they got buffed to be honest. I found they are an already variable class and quite capable in the hands of someone that has spent the time to learn and play him. But hey, I won't complain due to how other plant characters fall short in turns of power. But I'm happy to see Electro Citron get a buff to his primary weapon damage (Non-charged), makes him playable again. Not sure why his charged shots got a nerf though, charged shots should always be damaging considering you're leaving yourself open and giving enemies time to get out of LoS for the burst.
Kernal Corn
About time the rest of the variants stacked up to the BBQ Corn, since there was really no reason to use any corn but him.
Rose / Cactus
No comment, never really use her so nothing to compare. One day I'll get to her. Same with the Cactus, a non-hit scan sniper just doesn't work in my eyes. Although a neat buff to Cactus would be a third variant to his Walnut, making an elevated perch instead of a barrier.
Scientist
About time, those three just wreck people (And this is from experience as I use them to get my Master/Streak Vanish quests down in Multiplayer). A support class should never have the ability to be an assassin especially when it comes to mowing down a tank class. However to those whiners that say they are none ineffective as they have to reload to do enough damage to wipe out a character, you do have 2 sticky bombs as well.....
Sunflower
Not the intended buff I wanted to see for the class. They are Healing / Support class, increasing their damage isn't fixing their role, as they will still be nuked fast and no longer capable of doing what they were intended to do. They needed something to make them survive longer, whether it was an escape or a defensive buff.
Captain DeadBread / Pea Shooter
Meh, still think Detonated projectiles only serve the purpose of shotgunning, which is great for a class that has enhanced movement speed, not so much for a lagging snail.
Chomper
If the camera change helps with his burrowing movement, thank god, sometimes he'll move in the wrong direction or the camera will spin a bit causing some disorientation . Also may start using Chomp Thing now with a 2x Digestion Bonus and a Health regeneration bonus, he may be pretty sweet from my favored Hot Rod with the speed bonus instead of health. (2x Digestion Bonus is a must for all variants... sadly)
Super Brainz
About bloody time Electro Brainz was nerfed. His melee was insane of enough but was clearly not needed as his range was just as terrifying... for a Melee / Tank class...... Aside from the cool down time, why was Turbo Twister Nerfed? Yes it's great for cleaning up noobs, but it also easily shutdown and in some cases easy to avoid. Chomper / Rose / Citron can easily knock you out of it, one even killing you out right in the purpose. PeaShooter / Kernal Corn can easily dodge or get out of it and leave a parting gift in their place. Cactus can try to wall out most of the damage and leave a parting gift as well but most cases they will die. Sunflower is the only one that gets boned completely from it.
Foot Soldier
Have to one day start leveling these guys as well, but they seem to be a pretty well rounded class. Have to give the Tank Commander a whirl.
Imps
Should never be easy to hit to begin with, why they have a low health pool and get completely wrecked by melee / splash damage. Not to mention one also has to aim while jumping around like a spring rabbit in heat to make the most of the class. And why do Mech's need a buff? They already good at snowballing through enemy ranks and making game changing pushes for your team, so now we'll see them up more often with more health? Sounds like a real bone headed buff. Granted, I love using the Z7 Mech, every time I pull a plant in with Biotic Pull, I hear 'Finish Him' in my head (Mortal Kombat), and hit them with Omni Blade. If they die I get my satisfying 'Fatality!'
And on a side not, why only 2 more variants?! ☹️
