So Kernel Corn is one of my last characters to get to Master. He is viable and fun but for me seems a little weak. In a one on one with Foot Soldier who I guess is his Zombie equivalent I go down many times, unless I get Husk Hop off (which is almost a guaranteed kill). However the launch delay for that is sooooo slow you are often killed before take off.Any tips for Corn from Corn mains? Best upgrades? Should he be buffed and how?

@34975634954957 My Kernal Corn is still at Super Elite but I would recommend the Mob Cob perk because I like the ability to shoot through an enemy and hit others behind them- the Mob Cob variant from GW2 was one of my favorite Corns so that perk was a sure thing for me.Rapid Recob is useful as well for a quicker reload.

@34975634954957 If you're referring to which upgrades you could equip, I have some suggestions of what you could try. I'm not a corn main, but have used him and tested out some of his upgrades. Fearless (2 upgrade points). Heals you for 8 health per second while near 2 or more enemies.Rapid Recob (2 upgrade points). Corn's cob busters reloads faster, good when in close combat.Mob Cobs (3 upgrade points). Corn's primary pierces through enemies.Rough Patch (1 upgrade point). Handy if you keep getting vanquished!I hope that helps you 😃!

@spIash_damage It's the ones I actually tested in PvE and that I found worked with Corn quite well... I understand you can't equip them all at once. Those upgrades are the ones I found best so far (I haven't maxed corn yet so I can't say for sure)!🙂

@spIash_damage I'd only use Rough Patch if I keep losing in fights and getting vanquished regularly in a PvP game, or in PvE if struggling to complete a mission, as the extra health can be very beneficial either way!

When I die frequently, I slow down, woosah with a few deep breaths and sing “I just wanna fly/Fly” and replace the chorus with “I don’t wanna die” and run from people. Shoot when ya can but be a super coward and you’ll inevitably start laughing and stop dying.

@34975634954957 Corn is one of my favorites, regardless of how weak he can be. Rapid recob is great if you never pull your finger off the trigger. (Pvm) I don’t use it as much in pvp because I very rarely empty a magazine in battle and there is always time to reload. My largest problem with corn is his shuck shot, it’s super inconsistent. Even when mastered and you can move faster while aiming, it’s flight speed is just to slow and very little splash damage from it. I use it to spread a tight crowd in pvp. So I recommend getting used to his leaping ability as it seems to be his most powerful by far. I upgrade that for both direct hits and larger area.

Corn is fantastic for recon, unfortunately most who play him are afraid to die in game. I run behind enemy lines and drop my butter beacon to show my allies where everyone is. (Scouting if you will, with full purpose of being this worlds new Rocky, or Rambo if you prefer)
