Crashing on Startup

I've recently bought the game and I've noticed one annoying thing... 99/100 chances, the game crashes. When it's able to load, it's normal, the game runs around 60 FPS+ and everything goes smoothly. I've read that restarting the computer may help, and it did for a while and now it does not load anymore, it constantly crashes on startup. Any ideas? (Note: I've tried "Repairing Game" and same result. I do not plan to do an uninstall and reinstall for one big reason, my internet here is bad... but still good enough to play PvZ GW2)

Specs:

i7-6700HQ

GTX 980M (4 GB of Dedicated Vid Memory)

24 GB of RAM (2133 MHz)

Okay I went to check the crash thing it says but nope this time it works ._.

But usually when I start it up it just says PvZ GW2 has stopped responding... Nothing else.

    @SERPERNTINE

    Here are some ideas maybe:

Force the game to use Borderless:

    Documents\PVZ Garden Warfare\settings\PROF_SAVE_profile

    Edit with Notepad

    Borderless:
    GstRender.FullscreenMode 2

    GstRender.FullscreenScreen 1

    -------

You could also try setting all the games settings to default by deleting the GW folder in Documents.  It will recreate to default settings on next launc.

    -----

Try going to nVidia Control Panel and defaulting the Global 3D Properties.

I do not believe your computer has an active Intel HD530 IGP but to be safe make sure the game is using the 980m by doing this:

    http://imgur.com/a/6KJBH#87BGUaE
nVidia Control Panel -> 3D Settings -> Program Settings -> Add Program (PvZ) -> High Performance Processor

    ----

I don't see any crash errors in the DX report for GW but it does have a lot of DllHost.exe -> OLMAPI32.DLL

DLLhost I believe has to do with .Net redist files (may be relevant).

OLMAPI32 I believe is mostly associated with Outlook in Office (probably not relevant?)

You may try some things like:

    SFC /Scannow

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/929833

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

    http://www.windowscentral.com/how-use-dism-command-line-utility-repair-windows-10-image

Re-running the game's .Net installer from:

    Origin Games\Plants vs Zombies\__Installer\vc\vc201XUpdateX\redist\vcredist_x64.exe

    Select Repair
