EA Staff (Retired)I really do think it is unlikely that community challenges would return at this point. I do hope the achievements and trophies can be altered or changed so they can still be completed.
@TheSprinter85It's sad to see honestly as it hurts to think that there are still new players constantly joining gw2 who will never be able to 100% the game now and don't even know that it has more content for them to explore.
I omly ever got all the brothers gnomus hats so i held hope that maybe more unique modes would return after capture the taco but sadly I just keep being disappointed, even when I was angry at braindead teammates I was still involved and could help them learn the mode and have then spread the knowledge shared.
Sad to think that one day the servers for gw2 will completely shut down one day and I won't ever be able to play it again and even if i could with juat bots there's so much content missing unless modded.
God, I hate seeing how much this series has fallen.
I've posted this on the GW2 forums too; the boss hunts, cats vs. dinos, and the more fun modes like capture the taco and soil survivors would be great to have, and people need those trophies. It's not unreasonable to expect the mystery portal to bring these back and it can't be all that difficult to turn these on as needed.
I'd also like new folks to have the option to get the community challenge hats, even if we don't get community challenges anymore.
There's a lot of love for the GW games, but there'd be even more if these events would would be supported. There's only so much of lawn-o-thons and rando with speed boosts people can take.
