I don't think the chances are good tbh. During and after bfn popcap vancouver lost a lot of its dev team and became motive vancouver, they also put the portal on the fixed rotation its on now a year ago amd the only special mode in it is capture the taco that only happens once. If they did change the rotation I think people would like it as gw2 is by far the most popular of the 3 shooters and has the biggest player base alongside allowing players to access achievements much easier. Sadly I doubt this will happen as they already decided the rotation a year ago when bfn was still supported and i doubt they would change it after all this time.
It shouldn't be that hard to change though and I'm suprised they even went through with the current rotation with how many modes it leaves out.
Also btw what about community challenges and respective chests?
Imo, easiest fix by far is autopop all unobtainable cheevos/trophies and end of the story, since I don't think they have patience to go through a more complicated process like changing the requirements or adding the content back in the game or like make it solo/co-op possible in private play or something... Players just want to have a possibility that's all.

@black_opREADYf1I wonder why they went through with it as well since it clearly hinders achievement progression.
The chests went away with the weekly portals since they can't be bothered to create specifif challenges and are too lazy to just recycle old ones.
At this point anything would be better than nothing being done about these achievements and the content related to them. - 4 years ago@stukapooka Oh actually there's other solution aswell, which would be basically ea making packs or selling seperately unobtainable cheevos/trophies.. it sounds ridiculous af, but I wouldn't actually mind to spend few bucks to just have piece of mind and have it 100%!
This has never been done before I think, so that would be kinda a revolution in the videogames history lol.
But indeed, I wonder what's missing here exactly for this to get fixed somehow?... Like are the players the problem or the devs/company? Never understood completely who's to blame in the end here, since I know players specially gamers are one of the most spoiled lazy people (at least in the cheevos/trophies hunting community), when something gets unobtainable, most people won't do *, but just talk random bs on the forums, if it eventually gets fixed, then everyone gets back in the game smh - stukapooka4 years agoLegend
@black_opREADYf1I think it's the devs imo.
Popcap keeps making baffling descions that are only hurting the series.
Sure EA may have something to do with it but popcap themselves admitted being in a lot of creative troubles before the EA buyout and there seems to have been budget cuts in mid 2017 explaining the overall lack of major content updates in gw2 before capture the taco after heroes released. They also layed off George Fan the creator of pvz.
Bfn seems to have only been made in 1 year at max and this was after a single player pve game was scrapped and its team was blended with the bfn devs which explains why the pve is the most functional and content rich part of the game. It was also strange to move from the gw series to bfn but given that bfn seems to be made on a lower budget things like variants being removed makes sense as its less effects, animations, and models to create and therefore saves money ( alot of assests were heavily reused in bfn as well but just remember this is my theory so anything's possible at this point). It was even made by the gw team so the disconnect feels even stranger.
Games receiving support years after the official end of support are indeed very rare.
