It pays for any Zombie deck to have counters. Weed Spray. Rolling Stone. Nibble. Cakesplosion. Not saying I've never had my butt handed to me because I've not been able to quickly remove a Captain Cucumber, but I have definitely beaten my fair share of decks/games that had them.
Also, I want to say I really like that with GG, EA introduced quite a few low cost Legenardy cards. In S1, it always felt like to me you had to get to the 6th, 7th, 8th rounds to play a Legendary. Now it's much more diverse and I love that.

To answer OP's other question: when set 2 came out, I recycled other legendaries (like my 4th copy of wannabe) to get the sparks necessary for 4 copies of cucumber. it's the best legendary for sure
