I grind the ads every day as well and usually can get a 1000 gem pack about once a week. Usually 90%+ of those cards are ones I have so they get turned into sparks. Not as lucrative as it once was but if you keep grinding and save your sparks for cards that truly fit your play style you'll get there. I had 20k saved because I just couldn't decide on what I wanted. Ended up with three Captain Cucumbers and two Astro Vera's. I don't regret my decisions.

But I can't give advice on how to aquire more legendary because most people scoff at the idea of recycling legendary or others like event and superrare, but way I see it, if you don't use a card then what reason do we have them?
Sure as heck cant sell your cards when you're quitting the game, so if you can score some cards you really want and all it cost you is a few cards you don't use and were probably disappointed when you got them.
Thats only advice I will give...if you have cards that either chapped you when you opened your packs or ones that you just have no use for, consider whether or not it's worth it(to you, for you, only you!!!) to possibly get a card you've been chasing
LOL I have 7 of him I would like to send you three of them but unfortunately it's not possible yet 😂 Yea he sucks and I hate him. But you can counter him as said before or with death ability
