If he's as good as people say, I wonder which Rose player bodied him so hard for him to hate her so much...
My hate for certain classes doesn't stem from being killed endlessly by them classes, it's probably purely that the class as homing which makes it unfair off the bat. The nerf was justified but then she became very weak and the side struggled because she was the one who makes the teleports and nobody wanted to play the whole game as a free kill just to build a few teleports which got stomped anyway because everyone was there for the free kills.
I don't like the Imp because the tiny little vermin defies all possible gravitation directions and when you do finally get the little snake to low health he pulls out a Mech and you need to find a completely different way to kill him. Good players generally like a challenge when playing games, and won't ever use the overpowered classes because it is boring, takes away the challenge and ultimately the fun - the most important thing in any game.

Rose's concept was definitely flawed from the beginning. A character like her is extremely hard to balance. However, the balancing team came very close to the answer. During the beta and at launch she was broken. She was just too powerful, but now the homing only works from a specific distance. You can't use it at close range or long range and her projectiles are slow and have low DPS to make up for that. The problem with her is that despite all her weaknesses (low HP, low DPS, unusable weapon at close range etc.) her other abilities make up for them all. Her small hurtbox, floaty jump and Arcane Enigma make up for her low HP. Goatify protects her at close range.Time Snare can shut down Pirates, stops most abilities, can help her hit fast moving targets, prevent a Superhero from approaching and many other things. That's why she is the most powerful console character at the moment. But the problem is, if you remove one of those things, she will struggle. The only thing I would change about her is make her weapon much harder to aim by decreasing the lock on angle and maybe give her a bit more damage and/or faster rate of fire to make up for it.
The Imp is perfectly fine imo. The only thing I would change about him is make his grenade's cooldown not reset when he respawns. I would do that for every stun or disabling ability in the game.
