DirectX Error on PvZ GW

i5 650's built in integrated graphics just are to old and slow to play this game.
An HD4000 just barely gets it done at what I'd call "barely" playable.
I looked up your desktop, it looks like it's a half-height chassis. That severly limits your options for dedicated GPUs. There are a few half-height GPUs out there but it's a niche market for gaming. Mostly you will find "business" grade half-height GPUs.
Quick google I found some 740's and R7 250's.
I own a 7750 lowprofile in my HTPC, it isn't very good compared to the gaming computers but it gets the job done for light gaming in the living room.

If you do buy a new computer someday and you plan on gaming I'd highly recommend a full size case as it doesn't limit your options for a GPU if you are a gamer. In several years though this suggestion might be null... since the IGP's are advancing so darn quickly.
*edit* I checked his drivers, they are up to date with Intel's website for 1st generation i3/5/7
