Do your coins get carried over from PvZ to Pv

I have a stockpile of coins on my original PvZ account that are just sitting there... Is there anyway to transfer them over to PvZ2? And, the coin prices on PvZ are dirt cheap, so if I can I want to buy some before Popcap and EA raise the prices because this is going to become such a big game again. And I know that the characters and character pieces are getting transferred so that's a relief...
