Popcap games are elevated by their unique and amazing talent for art direction and character design. You can even see it in Peggle 2 (which I love), the same flawless presentation and attention to detail. Luna from Peggle 2 is the greatest character design I have ever seen, and this is not for Overwatch or Zelda or something, but a simple bubble shooter! And still they do it because they are so passionate about it.
The graphics being way too cartoonish, and the ridiculous running animations severely dumbed down the game. They went for a 4th grade level and pretty much hit it. So no, this game in particular doesn't have the best animations. GW and GW2 were much much better games.
