It says if I press Backspace I will turn back into Cactus, but it does nothing! Please help me, I don't know what to do! Same problem with Captain Dreadbeard. I have PC.
On PC hit C to self-destruct your drone/parrot. That's the default anyway.
@aikohu I'm a console player, but you press B (on Xbox) on the Drone to cancel it. There should be a button that you can press on PC that should allow you to simply cancel your drone at any time. Perhaps you should give it a go in a PvE region or Private Giddy Park. Hopefully you will find a button that cancels your drone for you.

I had the same issue at first. I can't remember which key it was in GW2 but when I first played BfN I couldn't get out of my drones so would try to suicide it until I was able to find that key!
