Yeah, I got my first legendary hat out of the pack.
I think the sheer volume of card packs that were bought are the main reason for more legendary pieces showing up than anything. People were saving millions of coins to be able to get the new characters so of course there will be increased reports of legendary pieces being pulled. But if I am understanding the new drop rate, it went from 1% to 2%. That is not some massive jump and it will not start raining legendary pieces because of it.
I spent 3.5 million and received the new characters and no legendary character pieces.

I really wish for a separation of Gold,Silver,Diamond, and Gem variants for a different pack. The amount of times I've wanted new items out ways variants that add no value and to me don't look great. This would hopefully increase odds of obtaining rarer items. The thing I find most annoying is why create 5 different "items" with these variants making for a total of less items than stated. I did like the bling pack from GW1 with that you knew exactly what you were paying for.

the drop % was only originally 1% chance? where did you guys learn this? I doubt it only went up to 2% as i've gotten 2 legendaries yesterday and i seen one youtuber get a legendary on their very first pack (RNG sure but still) and a lot more people got lucky and pulled some legendaries yesterday.
it's probably 5% at this point because a lot more people are getting them now per 1-2mil spent on the pack which is a lot better than spending nearly 5mil and only getting one. Doesn't change the fact the drop rate still sucks but it's a "small" step in the right direction at least. i'm mainly just wanting to get toxic brainz already because i only need one more piece for him and the hat for the scientist and i would have all the legendary pieces.- 10 years agoDrop rate for legendaries must have greatly increased as I spent 2.6 million on new packs and got both the new characters, both pieces of computer scientist, one piece of disco chomper and 3 legendary hats....
To say I was happy is an understatement....up to that point I had got 2 hats after spending 16 million.... - 10 years ago

That info apparently came from one of the live streams, although I can't personally confirm it. I've now spent about 4 and a half million and got one legendary hat. Hopefully I will have better luck soon.

1.8 million spent and have both new characters, and the legendary lady bug hat for the cactus class.
