[EA app] PVZ GW2 Crashing after splash screen

every single time I tried running as an administrator and I talked to support it didn't help me it told me to clear ea app cache but it didn't work when it crashes it sends me back to ea app

    sorry for taking a long time I didn't see it what I did is turning ea overlay off and turn off update games automatically and enable background downloads and then turning them on expect the ea overlay and it worked you can then enable ea overlay if you want

    Did you ever get a fix for this?

    I deleted the game some months ago and now I wanted to redownload the game but now im having the exact problem as you explained here. And then it just keeps saying that the game is still open when looking in task manager and I cant close and I have to restart my pc for it to close.
