EA servers down?

Kinda late too the party on this one, but I just bought the game, im signed in but unable to connect to the servers. Did I just throw 30 bucks away? (I dled off the 360 marketplace)

I'm having same problem I think servers are just down I have rank 90 and showing me as rank one
