Easy AntiCheat Game Security Violation Detected (#0000000D) [ROGLiveService.exe]

I launch my Plants vs Zombies Battle for Neighborville game an it plays through the launch scene and then the game shuts down and this Easy Anti-Cheat screen pops up.

Game Security Violation Detected (#00000000D) [ROGLiveService.exe]

SEARCHED ROGLiveService.exe and found the following information which suggests to me there shouldn't be an issue with my ASUS Live Services.

ROGLiveService.exe is part of ROG Live Service and developed by ASUSTek COMPUTER INC. according to the ROGLiveService.exe version information.

ROGLiveService.exe's description is "ASUS ROG live and updating service"

ROGLiveService.exe is digitally signed by ASUSTEK COMPUTER INCORPORATION.

ROGLiveService.exe is usually located in the 'C:\Program Files (x86)\ASUS\ROG Live Service\' folder.

None of the anti-virus scanners at Virus Total reports anything malicious about ROGLiveService.exe.

The only other thing I could think of to try, other than to clear my cache, would be to Open ORIGIN. Right Click the Plants vs Zombies Battle for Neighborville game into PROPERTIES.
Click on ADVANCED LAUNCH OPTIONS to type in a Command line argument telling the game to ignore the ROGLiveService.exe file when launching.
However, I don't know how or what to type into the command line to do that. I was hoping someone would or could post a fix.  Thank You for any help given.

I'm running an ASUS ROG Rampage VI Extreme Encore LGA 2066 EATX | Intel i9-10920x CPU | 128 GB Memory | NVIDIA Geforce TRX 2080 Ti | 1 TB SSD | Windows PRO 64bit
I have Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare Deluxe and Garden Warfare 2 Deluxe that launch a run okay. I just bought the Battle for Neighborhood game.

  • Hey @JahmenMyst

Thanks for all the information you've provided, greatly appreciated.

Can you try repairing the "Picnic" file in the EasyAntiCheat Folder?

Fully close out of Origin, including anything Origin related in Task Manager.

Go to where you have Battle for Neighborville installed, open the EasyAntiCheat Folder, open the Setup file, and select "Picnic" from the drop down box. Then, click Repair.

Close out of the Setup, launch Origin as Administrator, and try launching Battle for Neighborville again.

    Thanks 🙂

    - iluminate, I followed the posted steps by locating the EasyAntiCheat Service Setup Screen and Choosing the Repair Service. I then Opened Origin as Administrator and relaunched the game. The game ran the opening as before and then closed with EasyAntiCheat error screen.

Thank You for trying to help with my Plants vs Zombies' Battle for Neighborville game
