Experience with cactus in this game.
I was maining Cacti boy since gw1 and played him also in gw 2
and i have this to say about him now:
This character IS SO BAD period.
Why:
1.SPRINTING.
please just delete it , or at least when you take dmg you cant use it for next few seconds.
This ability makes it so HARD to hit someone while he's jumping around
like a monkey.
2.Visuals.
just 1 word Snapdragon.(some people may say:"BuT WHaT abOuT The SolDeR" well he was a counter to cacti since gw1 and now hes really bad+you can easily see throught smoke)
3. Primary and Secondary
Now cactus has 2 types of ammo :
Primary which is basicly a bandit cactus form pvz gw 1 and 2 , but the damage is so low that you cant
even defend yourself and the best option is to just use your E while sprinting and praying to god that
your enemy will miss all of the shots.
Secondary: A shot that charges up after some time just like widowmaker from overwatch,but the diffrence is:
THE ONLY CLASS YOU CAN 1 SHOT IS IMP.
And even if you hit someone with full charge shot, you have low chance of killing someone cus mostly someone would block it or
they would just jumping around of hide.
4.Garlic Drone.
He is slower than my grandma in this game ,and it has so low dps that i only use it to finish people that are low.
5.Game modes.
Only playable gamemode for cacti is turf takeover .😢 or else prepare to get killed by a monkey jumping around.
6.Maps
Yes , devs made sure that maps are made without a lot of open space that cactus can use to his advantage.
Also there aren't day and night variations of maps like in gw 1, so potato mine is kinda useless.
7.Damage Falloff:
is it even in the game ? Or are the maps so small that you never get damage falloff?
Pros of cactus:
E is useful.
Was really fun cus of moving people with drones.
usefull meat shield
Conclusion:
don't play him ever again ,he's not fun and they changed him just to change because " THis iS DifFrENt ThAn GarDEN WarFARE"
(TL;DR Why did you change our good cacti boi ?)
