    Hello!!!

I got pvz gw a couple weeks ago and I've noticed really bad lag.  I get around 25 fps normally and like 7 is huge battle scenes.  I'm using a bunch of game boosters like Razor Cortex and Advanced System Care 8, I set pvz gw to realtime priority, and I turned off Origin Game Overlay.  I can run games like CS:GO and TF2 at like 90 fps.  Here are my specs.

    Specs:

    Laptop

    ---------

    Manufacturer: Toshiba

    Model: Satellite C55-A

    Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-3120M CPU @ 2.50GHz 2.50GHz

Installed memory: 8.00 GB (7.88 GB usable)

System type: 64-bit Operating System, x64-based processor

    Graphics Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000

    NVIDIA GeForce GT 640M LE

    9/5/2013

    Also has an HD4000 IGP

Both of those can run the game.

Your problem is likely nVidia drivers are out of date and you need to force it to use the 640m

    http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

During install Click "Advanced" and "Clean Install"

Force the 640m over the HD4000

nVidia Control Panel -> 3D Settings -> Program Settings -> Add Program (PvZ.exe) -> High Performance Processor

I've played this game on a mobile HD4000.. it works but not with drivers 3+ years old.

    How to get Crash Details

Start -> type "Reliability" -> View Reliability History -> Find Crash -> Right Click -> View Technical Details

    @Derpenboy

No you can't upgrade that on a laptop.

You didn't list a DXDiag so I have no clue if you have a dGPU in there as well as the HD4000.

Mobile HD4000 can get roughly 20~30fps with some hiccups in the game with latest drivers.  If all you have the HD4000 then 25fps is pretty normal I'd say.
