I want to add that if I'm not mistaken, "special" items do not enter your sticker book until you've gotten them. When you get one, your total number of stickers goes up by one in the sticker book. So these events do not add items that we must have to fill the sticker book. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Consumables makes sense, that is what the bat did (at least 3 times anyway).
Being "special" makes it seem even more like a carrot actually. Here's these things you can have, they are called gifts, but you will need to work extra hard for them. (That is, collect a lot of coins.) Halloween seemed like a bonus, play each day and get nice things. (No cost unless you are making up for last year, even then it was 5 consumables and 2 customizations for 40k and only 7 packs total.) Festivus has too much to possibly get without spending some amount of coins. The only reason it has that extra bite is the cost of each pack. It is 8k per sticker, 3 of which are guaranteed to be reskinned consumables. (And not very large quantities at that.) Were it like GW1 and just special packs with normal consumable/item ratios, with 7ish stickers and priced around 30k it wouldn't sting so much. After all, depending on how many packs are needed it could be over 1 million coins. (That isn't exactly an overnight task.)
Now personally, I have plenty of coins so I'm sure I will cough up the coins to get everything. I just can't help but get a slightly bad taste like something is off. Like adding a pinch of cayenne pepper to eggnog instead of cinnamon. (Its still eggnog, it just doesn't taste quite right.)

Couple of things I would like to point out - I think that this is the first time the 2017 winter customizations were made available, so no one should have them all already. Unless you were referring to the 2016 pack. If so, it's my mistake.
Also, the Snowman won't stay until Jan 1 if you get two keys a day. At some point, after you have acquired a certain number of keys, it will say it's its last day and disappear after you open the last chest. That's how it was in 2016.
One item that was among the upgrades the game recently offered was a 2017 Feastivus pack.
I don't know if I have every item from last year, but the pack is only giving me consumables, so I think so.
So if Feastivus pack are not giving customization anymore means I have everything from it? I opened a few and only its giving me consumables.
- @Lysosia that’s correct. If you have all the items from last years event, you’ll receive only consumables. At the end of this event you will be able to purchase any customizations you did not receive while the quest is going on. You will know you have all of them again when it just starts giving you consumables again.

Turns out I was wrong about having them all, I'm getting two stickers from each 2016 feastivus pack.
