Final code makes town hall close?

I just entered the fifth and final code after finishing all four trials and the last gnome boss. I opened the portal to where the two chests that unlocks torchwood and the zombie goat. But when I went back to the town hall it was closed again even though it only had opened. Is this a glitch or do I have to wait for the next time again to earn more rainbow stars? I tried resetting the game several times and it's still closed

    Did several of the Gnomus Bros boss hunts and now town hall is closed, can't get in, can't get to chests. What is going on???

    There is a lot bugs go on right now so portal close till it is fix

    I was looking forward to some great play on Thanksgiving, and I too had this problem. Hopefully they can extend how many days the thing goes for.
