This is something that goes back many years, as I'm sure you have experienced yourself, @spIash_damage . If you'be played TF2, nothing is more annoying than being taken out by a bunny hoping sniper. It is amusing when Oaks do this though. It's not like they're much more difficult to hit and it it's super annoying when you're a treetop Acorn and trying to hit zombies when you're ride is erratic.
I'd love for some kind of limit on this in BfN. Bunny hopping as certain characters, like Peashooters that can also use Pea Suped and have a splash damage(!) weapon can be extremely annoying. Bunny hopping Acorns can be tedious to deal with as well since they're already tiny. It's less useful for characters that require more precise aiming over AoE weapons, but it's a common issue for many characters.

@Iron_Guard8 Over the last month, I’ve tested a variety of custom controllers and until everyone has extra jump buttons, it only fuels my fire regarding bunny hopping; it’s just super unfair. People with a standard/factory controller CANNOT jump and aim in the same manner and all we end up seeing are rich, spoiled little try-hard boys with heavy aim assist playing with a ping of 1-2 dominating little kids with less buttons on their controllers. 99.9% of these try-hards are the same who toxic taunt.
I believe the game would be MUCH busier/populated without this in the game.

It's always a bit different between console and PC so this is harder for me to judge as I use my space bar to jump. It's still a thing on PC for sure, trapping a Peashooter as almost any zombie can be extremely annoying at best as they jump like loons and spam peas at you but like some other issues, it sounds significantly worse on console.
- Positronic-Rift6 years agoSeasoned HotshotMost BFN players have adopted bunny hopping to the way that they play. It's truly terrible, especially for console players who use standard controllers. Some possible solutions:
1) Increase size of hitbox for jumping characters.
2) Decrease running speed for characters who repeatedly jump (for me, > 2 times).
3) Increase walking speed enough to enable effective strafing.
- 6 years ago@Iron_Guard lol honestly I hop with oak, but I’m trying to match my opponents rhythm so it’s easier to hit them.
