flower v all star

anybody else find this event HEAVILY in favor of all stars? flowers barley make 20 points before they hit 49

    This event if pretty fun.  I actually enjoyed this one.

    To win as sunflower, you must have a good team.  Know when to heal and when to revive.  And when to use the solar beam.

    The All Star is a relatively low player skill character , while the sunflower requires LOTS of player skill to win.

    The game is very fair and very even.  It comes down to team mates and map.

    Like everyone mentioned, the map makes a big difference.  Some are advantageous to the All Star and some maps are advantageous to the sunflower.

    Enjoy the game and keep grinding for the rainbow stars.

It's very even...but it depends on teams...2 great players (like most team vanquish games) can swing the entire game and often do...Stuffy and Golf Star dominate this Super Mix Mode.  This is my 2nd favorite Super Mix Mode ever...the first being random chars with NO super speed.

Sunflowers won 7 of 8 games last night, I won once as the All-stars. The flowers can rez each other so fast that as long as they don't bunch up too much and get taken out by one Imp punt (which I fully took advantage of once last night on Zen Peak when I Long bombed onto one of those ridges where 5 of them were camped out, that was quite satisfying and was the one time the All-stars won), the all-stars can't score many points.

I honestly thought that the massive health difference would ensure an all-star win but in team vanquish the ability to rez quickly is key. We had roving bands of Sunflowers on most maps, rezzing each other as we tore into the All-stars, staggering our use of healing flowers to always have 1 up to keep us all alive. I had 15 rezzes one game and we won that one 50-24.

Time Park was my first match and the flowers slaughtered by camping out in Zgypt (All-stars lost 24 to 50). I never have liked that map for MP matches and from what I've seen it's one map that people really dislike from the new game and pine for some of the old ones.

It was fun though even as the All-stars and the other matches were usually closer, generally 50-mid 40s. As Gormey states above me the random no super speed is my favorite as well. We had roving Sunflower gangs when the randomizer let us as well. 🙂
